I always joke with the engaged couples that I photograph, "This is what you guys do every time you go to the park, right!?"  Deep down I hope they do, but I know that most people are bashful and will only do these things in public if a photographer is telling them to.  Ignore the spotlight effect because in reality people don't care if you are nuzzling your significant other on a picnic blanket, they have a plethora of other things on their mind.
